The Difference You’re Looking For

Learn more about PRP Facelift.

What it treats

  • fills in and smooths away facial wrinkles and folds

  • improves facial contours

  • fills in volume loss

  • improves texture/tone/gives facial glow

Procedure time

PRP Facelift injections take about 20-30 minutes, however, there is the additional blood draw and centrifuge spinning to obtain the platelets. Both the blood draw and the centrifuge spinning last about 15 minutes, therefore we ask patients to allot 1 hour of time for the PRP Facelift treatment.

Recovery time & side effects

Since the PRP Facelift is a non-invasive, non-surgical treatment, downtime and recovery are minimal.

Since PRP uses the patient’s own blood the risk of allergies or infections is very little. Patients can carry on with their daily routine immediately post PRP Facelift, however, as a result of the injections mild to moderate facial swelling and /or bruising can occur, lasting, on average, anywhere from 3 to 7 days.

PRP Injectable Facelift softens wrinkles and deep facial folds, fills in under eye hollowing, lifts sunken cheeks, and fills in volume loss in the chin area. Due to the formation of new blood vessels induced by the growth factors in the PRP, the skin tone improves with a noticeable glow.  Since the formation of new collagen occurs over time, it can take up to 90 days to reap the full benefits of the PRP Facelift. Subtle changes/improvement can continue to pass the 90 days with results lasting, on average, for up to 1 year.

During the initial complimentary cosmetic consultation, our cosmetic physician evaluates the patient's facial anatomy and structure as well as patient's expectations and desires. Based on the outcome, recommendations are made for which technique will produce the best aesthetic results.

Prior to the actual injections, a topical anesthetic can be applied. If additional comfort is desired, the physician can inject a dental block right prior to the PRP Facelift.

The separated PRP has a clear gold color (aka liquid gold). It is then drawn out into multiple syringes with fine needles and injected into deep folds and facial wrinkles, hollowed cheeks, under eye hollowing, or volume loss in the chin.

The PRP is obtained by taking a small sample of blood from the patient which is then spun in a centrifuge to separate the actual plasma from the red blood cells. Once prepared, the platelet concentration is then injected into specific areas of the face to prompt additional collagen growth and tissue regeneration.

Once injected, the PRP releases a burst of growth factors, which in time, are responsible for new cell and blood vessel formation, tissue regeneration, and collagen stimulation. It is recommended for one treatment every 3 months for optimal results.

Lasting Effects

The improvement continues over a period over the next 90 days. Results last up to 1 year. This procedure replaces the need for filler.

PRP Facelift- a non-surgical, scalpel-free, injectable liquid face lift that utilizes the patient’s own blood with platelet rich plasma, a concentrated portion bursting with healing properties and growth factors. The growth factors have the capability of growing new blood vessels and new cell formation, tissue regeneration, and collagen stimulation.

Our cosmetic physician injects the platelet rich plasma ( like injecting a filler) into deep facial folds and wrinkles or any facial areas with volume loss. Since the patient’s own blood is injected, the risk of allergic reaction or infection is minimal. The outcome is a youthful and rejuvenated look with smoother and softer lines and folds and improved tone and texture. The same PRP can be used in conjunction with a microneedling pen.
